Art Room Expectations

ART ROOM EXPECTATIONS!

BE ON TIME/ END ON TIME
Class begins when the bell rings.  Students should be in their seats or already working.
Clean up begins 5 minutes prior to the end of class.  If a student is finished with their assignment they should be working in thier sketchbook. 

COME TO CLASS PREPARED
This is an ART CLASS!  Students must always have a #2 pencil (although while not preferred a mechanical pencil is okay too).  Work in pen unless otherwise noted will not be accepted.  Students should always bring their sketchbooks or process journalsto class in addtion to any materials that are required to complete the projects/ assignments.

CELL PHONE MUST BE TURNED OFF
Please make sure that cell phones are turned off prior to the start of class.  School policy states that cell phones must be turned off and stored in the student's locker. Cell phones will not be tolerated and will be confiscated.

LANGUAGE
Please do not use language that would be considered inappropriate for school.  If you wouldn't say it in front of someone you respect, don't say it in the art room!  Always be considerate, polite, and respectful to those who the space is shared. 

MATERIALS
Please respect all art room materials.  Every student is responsible for their own space as well as the surrounding space.  Studnets are responsible for properly using materials as directed in demonstrations and for the clean up of those materials.
