About the teacher

Hello!  I am looking forward to another fun-filled exciting year in the Sheckler Gym! I can't wait to see all my elementary students again as well as meet the new Kindergarten students!! Good luck to all my former 4th grade students moving up to the middle school! I will miss you!

After school, I have a very busy home life.  I live in Northampton with my husband, Kevin and 4 kids.  My oldest is Kaitlyn, who is 19 years old.  Next oldest is my son Kyle who is 17 and is on the football and wrestling team. My youngest, Dylan and Jocelyn are 13 and 10.  All of my kids  enjoy riding dirt bikes and four wheelers in their spare time.   In addition to my children, I also have 2 dogs.  One is over 100 pounds and he is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Wesson. The other dog is only 15 pounds and she is a King Charles Cavalier named Lucy. As you can see there is seldom any downtime in our household!  I always tell everyone my house is a zoo!

When I can sneak away from all the craziness,  I enjoy taking my dog for a run, working out in our home, and swimming in the pool.  I also love watching my kids in their sporting events.  One thing I hope you all learn about me is that I like to laugh and have a good time.  I hope all of you do too!!  Can't wait to get back in the gym!!
