About the Teacher and Class Mission

HI!!  I am Mrs. McDonough and I will be teaching 2nd Grade this year!  I graduated from Penn State and have been teaching for 17 years at Sheckler.  Prior to coming to 2nd grade, I taught Technology, 4th grade, and 3rd grade at Sheckler and was a first grade teacher at Holy Family School in Nazareth, PA.

Along with teaching I use to coach basketball. I was the JV Girls/Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach for Catasuaqua High School. It was a lot of fun filled years! I also coached my little sister's team at Our Lady of Perpetual Help for 4 years.  I truly enjoy sports and coaching! 

At home I live with my husband, my 6 year old son Cullen, and my 4 year old son, Maddox.

 CLASS MISSION

My mission for this class is to always strive to do your best. I believe that if we try "to be the best we can be" everyday, we are going to accomplish many things we set out to do!
