Science/Paths

The four kindergarten science themes are Wood, Paper, Fabric and Push, Pull, Go.  The children take responsibility for their learning by sharing what they notice and wonder during hands-on exploration. While conducting experiments, the students use their senses to develop observation skills and record their findings.

PATHS-Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies

In order to teach children social and emotional skills, PATHS will be implemented in kindergarten. The school counselor will be introducing the children to the program, and the teachers will be reinforcing the skills taught in the classroom.
