REMIND: This will be my main method of communicating throughout the school year. It will also be used by the school to relay important information. Please be sure that you have access to this. 

Lunch: Second Grade lunch is from 1:05-1:35.

Students will not have to purchase school lunch. It will be provided for free.  Students will also be provided with a breakfast at the end of each day to eat the following day. Please be sure to have them remove this from their backpacks DAILY.

Recess:  I will make every effort to take the students out for recess daily, as long as the weather is acceptable. Please be sure that students are dressed appropriately for the weather.  In the event we cannot go outside, we will have recess in the classroom.

Birthdays: Students may celebrate their birthday in the classroom.  At the present time, there are 16 children in our class.  If you would like to send in a special snack for them to share, you may.  If your child has a summer birthday and would like to celebrate their birthday during the school year, we will set aside the last 2 weeks of school to honor these students. 

** If your child has a food allergy, please send in a few snacks that I will keep to give them when we celebrate a birthday.**
