Think First

“Think First”  (school-wide behavior program)This year we will be implementing a Positive Behavior Plan school wide.All teachers will be looking for positive behaviors that help each student feel valued and enhance the learning culture of our school. Children will still be held accountable for appropriate school/classroom behaviors. If your child receives a conduct referral, he or she has displayed behaviors that have been disruptive to the learning environment.

School Wide Rules:

I will respect others.

I will be responsible for me.

I will cooperate with others.

I will be kind to others.

I will be honest with others and myself.

I will always do my best. 

 

It is expected that all students will learn these rules and the guidelines for their application in all school settings. Students will be recognized for positive behavior with both verbal and monthly rewards. Each month students will have the opportunity to participate in a scheduled monthly activity. Students who do not earn this reward will be grouped together to reflect on their behaviors that did not allow them to participate.
