Dear Students, Parents, Guardians, and Families,

I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe during this difficult time. Please know that I miss seeing your children every week for story time and the exchange of library books. The highlight of my day is engaging the kiddos in a story where they laugh in all the right places or get surprised by an ending. Luckily, we live in a time where story time can be enjoyed through posted videos in Google Classroom. Once a week I will post a read aloud video for your child/children to enjoy. Please know this will appear as an assignment but is not required. I thought it would be nice to connect with the Sheckler students in this way. You only need to relax and enjoy a good story.

We will address the return of library books at a later date. Until then, please continue to enjoy them gently so they may be returned in good condition. Please store them in a safe place, like a backpack, to keep all school materials together.
